Jennifer Holcom- Kyle
DVMDr. Kyle grew up in Kansas and even as a child visiting her grandparents farm and the many animals was always one of her favorite activities. After completing her degree in biology at Kansas State University, Dr. Kyle moved to Houston to study cell biology. After deciding that lab research was not for her she stayed in Houston but began working at a VCA Animal Hospital first as a receptionist then as a technician. Having established Texas residency she had the good fortune of attending veterinary school at Texas A&M University graduation in 2001 and she started at VCA Lake Jackson just a few weeks later. Dr. Kyle has particular interest in animal behavior and training, shelter medicine, nutrition, alternative therapies, and reproduction. In addition to enjoying Lake Jackson as a wonderful location to live and work, she also met and married her husband Keven here (a Clute native). Their 4-legged family member include 2 Italian Greyhounds, 2 Ibizan Hounds and 2 cats. They are actively involved with the local SPCA as well as numerous purebred rescue groups and often have extra foster dogs living with them as well. When she's not working Dr. Kyle enjoys training and showing her dogs, traveling, cooking, watching football, and reading.

Elton Haydel
DVMDr. Elton D. Haydel is a 1990 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He is a native Louisianian who arrived in Texas after Hurricane Katrina flooded the City of New Orleans and his childhood home where he was living with his parents. He has an undergraduate degree in biology from Xaiver University of LA. He prefers small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as internal medicine. He enjoys working with pocket pets including rabbits, ferrets and small birds. He is blessed with three wonderful children named Elton Jr., Taylor Paige, and Alexander. His hobby is salterwater marsh fishing. Dr. Haydel has been practicing for VCA since 1991 and has worked in Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, and now Lake Jackson.
