While restorative procedures correct a patient's oral health concerns, cosmetic dentistry is focused purely on aesthetics. Better health can sometimes result from a cosmetic dentist's work, such as less TMJ pain from better-aligned teeth after undergoing Invisalign®. Meanwhile, some restorative treatments (such as dental implants) can provide significant health benefits while also improving the look of your smile. During a consultation, we can decide if your needs are purely cosmetic, or if you also need practical treatment. Dr. Ryan K. Bell is a cosmetic dentist who has created hundreds of customized dental plans to help patients achieve their ideal smiles. He looks forward to doing the same for you.

Our dentist prefers premium materials like all-porcelain and zirconia for dental restorations. These materials are incredibly durable and closely mimic the natural look of a real tooth. We use only the most trusted products in the industry including IPS e.max® and KATANA™ restorations. As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Bell pays special attention to his patients' cosmetic goals, even during primarily restorative treatments. You can rest assured that your custom crown or dental bridge will work great, feel great, and look great, too.
Similar to traditional dental implant-supported restorations, All-on-4 requires surgery to insert sturdy titanium rods into your jawbone where your restorations will eventually be fastened. Unlike traditional dental implants that insert a rod for every missing tooth or every few teeth, the All-on-4 method only requires four implants per full arch. So even if you are missing all of your upper or lower teeth, you will still only need four dental implants per jaw.

Working with an expert is important when considering dental implants. Dr. Bell will carefully assess your mouth and go over your health to ensure implants are the right choice for you. Some patients lack the necessary bone density to support an implant. Dr. Bell can usually overcome that obstacle by using advanced implant techniques or performing a bone graft to strengthen your jaw. Dental implants offer patients a number of solutions for missing teeth.

Dental veneers are ultra-thin porcelain shells. They fit snugly over the front surfaces of the teeth to conceal cosmetic dental concerns like damage, small gaps, and minor misalignment issues. During a porcelain veneer placement appointment, your dentist will remove a small amount of enamel from the front of your teeth, gently shaping them to accommodate the veneers. They will then attach veneers to the front surfaces of your teeth, creating a near-instant smile upgrade. The process is virtually painless and can be completed in just two appointments.

Overlapping, misaligned, or crooked teeth don't just affect your smile's appearance – they impact its health, as well. Overlapping teeth can be incredibly difficult to brush and floss, even with professional equipment. The buildup of plaque on these teeth can be harmful, leading to tooth decay, gum disease, and even eventual tooth loss. Straightening your teeth with Invisalign at Bell Dental can give you a chance to look better, feel more confident, and live a healthier life.

Daily tasks like chewing and speaking can become a challenge if you're missing one tooth, let alone several teeth. Dentures can restore your oral functions so you can eat crunchy foods and speak clearly again. Custom-made dentures can replace an entire set of teeth at once, giving you a beautiful, lifelike smile. The gum-colored base of a denture also blends in with your smile, helping create a natural appearance. Some patients may feel self-conscious about missing teeth and other oral issues when they speak or smile. With dentures, you can confidently show off your stunning smile and make a great first impression.

Bite misalignments such as overbite, underbite, and crossbite can have long-term consequences on your oral health. These bites can cause teeth to grind against each other and damage your enamel, or lead to TMJ disorders by placing undue pressure on the jaws. A gap between your teeth, especially in the front row, can impact the appearance of your smile. Gaps can also create whistling sounds when you breathe through your mouth or speak. In some cases, gaps may be the result of oral health issues, such as gum disease. Orthodontics is the practice of straightening crooked or misaligned teeth, called malocclusion. Dentists use orthodontic treatments like braces to gradually realign a patient’s teeth or jaw, including their bite. Along with improving the appearance of your smile, orthodontics can fix difficulties with chewing or speaking, make cleaning and flossing your teeth easier, & more.

Root canal treatment, also called endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure that removes infected or inflamed tissue from the inside of a tooth. During a root canal, a dentist removes the tooth pulp, which consists of blood vessels and nerves. Fortunately, a fully-formed tooth can continue to function even without its pulp. If you are experiencing persistent pain and sensitivity in your teeth and gums, you may need root canal therapy. However, patients with a root canal infection may experience a wide variety of symptoms. Root canals can save a tooth and prevent the need for an extraction. While Dr. Bell will do everything possible can to save a tooth, extraction is sometimes the best solution to restore your oral health. In these cases, we offer tooth replacement options such as implants.
